“We are here on Earth to fart around.
Don’t let anybody tell you any different.”

Kurt Vonnegut

Thought is the great equalizer. Anyone who can open a can of soup can think. It doesn’t require money, breeding, education or great intelligence. It’s like simple math; if you can add some numbers together, do a little subtraction, maybe some first-year algebra, you can think as well as anyone. Maybe not as fast, but certainly as well. You don’t need education or teachers or lineage, although some writing tools and a decent library can help. You also have my books to guide you, which, at the risk of seeming immodest, offer a considerable leg up on your adventure. In any event, you start where you are and you go where you go. All serious thought eventually leads to the same place. All honest thinking is fire starting, and all fire starting ultimately leads to a scorched earth.
