Henry David Thoreau
A few days later, Maggie, Maya and I are exploring an old logging road on the other side of the mountain. During the walk, I tell Maggie about a stub trail going to the top of a nearby waterfall I hadn’t checked out yet. Big mistake. The stub was a mile and a half of hard going, then it got real hard for the last quarter mile. The return trip was no picnic either.
